The cycle is powerful. The way we believe shapes the way we see, feel, and act.

🔑 In psychology, this is known as cognitive appraisal our interpretation of a situation influences our emotional response, which then drives our behaviour. Over time, this becomes our lifestyle and reinforces the same thoughts again.

But here’s the good news:

👉 We can change our thoughts by introducing new perspectives.

It’s not about “toxic positivity” or pretending everything is fine.

It’s about opening up to different ways of looking at reality.

💭 What can you do when thoughts arise like:

“I’m not good enough.”
“I will lose everything.”
“I’ll never make it.”

🌬️ Try this grounding exercise:

	1.	Sit down and take a few deep breaths.
	2.	Place your hands gently on your heart.
	3.	Feel the contact between your hands and your skin.
	4.	Ask yourself: “Is it true?”
	5.	Can you be 100% certain that this thought is reality?

Often, you’ll notice that these thoughts are not facts, but mental habits.

Every time you question them, you weaken their power.

I’ve always loved walking barefoot. But when I moved to the city, I stopped going barefoot and wore shoes all the time. Suddenly, I could barely walk barefoot anymore, my feet were so sensitive, everything hurt. It felt like I had completely disconnected from something so natural.

Slowly, I started walking barefoot again. And now, for years, I walk barefoot as much as I can. Honestly, I only wear shoes when there’s no other option.
